Farah Fish Farm is a Jordanian project with a remarkable success story. The farm\u2019s journey began in 2004, when it started raising highly-demanded tilapia fish away from polluted waters. It later became the first fish farm in Jordan to produce sea prawns, as well as the first in the world to use a Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS).<\/p>\n

Today, our farm is considered the best in Jordan regarding its productivity, technology, product quality, sustainability, as well as national responsibility.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div>

Farah Fish Farm was founded by Mr. Ziad Atallah to provide premium-quality tilapia fish to the Jordanian market. During its early days, the farm raised fish in a basic system; then, it moved to using a semi-intensive system.<\/p>\n

In 2019, the farm broke international records in stocking rates per cubic meter due to utilizing its Recirculatory Aquaculture System (RAS). This has enabled us to produce around 500 tons of fish annually.<\/p>\n

In early 2022, our farm became the first to ever produce sea prawns in Jordan. We now raise a multitude of sea prawns in recycled and filtered water using RAS. Also, our efforts to support our country, community, and environment continue into the future.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div>
